Labyrinth

Labyrinth follows the thread of discovery through an exploration of the chaotic, uncanny, and quiet familiarity of urbanity. Both artists engage with built environments, questioning the ways in which we navigate and inhabit them. The work weaves poetic encounters with the starkly urban, providing fleeting moments to reflect upon within the constantly changing environment that surrounds us, attempting to disentangle and overcome.

Burnt Out Ruins of the Past
Mike Tudor

Boundaries imperceptibly creep in. Constantly surrounded, we navigate through these restrictions. Past experiences inform these pathways, through exploration of the structures that surround us, and before we know it we risk being swallowed whole. Burnt Out Ruins of the Past is a series of 21 images that were published as a limited 10 edition run of a Zine in 2024. Exhibited here as a series of six images at A0, inkjet printed on 115gm blue back billboard paper. [2023-24]

Think of Me in Motion
Sebastian F. Mahon

Think of Me in Motion is exploration of banal urbanity and the humanity which occupies such spaces. The work blends poetic encounters, socially-engaged portraiture, and picture-making to create fragmented, overlapping narratives that delve into the fragile interplay between subject, artist, and audience. The work serves as a meditation on memory, questioning the role of photographs in capturing and preserving lived experience. By presenting quotidian scenes as enigmatic field notes, the artist re-enchants the everyday, urging the audience to pause, reflect, and rediscover the world through a renewed lens.
