As the chemicals in these films deteriorate, they create unexpected and often mesmerising results. Interplay between my creative intentions and the film's inconsistent nature giving rise to a series of images that transcend their initial intention. The results are ethereal visions evoking landscapes, distant planets, and biomorphic forms—each photograph a window into a world where reality and abstraction collide.
The exhibition of ‘cosmic accidents’ showcases a curated selection of these otherworldly images. Reproductions of the original Polaroids are displayed on the tables of the Flying Saucer Cafe, inviting viewers to embark on their journey of discovery and interpretation.
