Artist biography
Danielė Balsytė is a Lithuanian-born, UK-based photographer currently residing in Portsmouth. She graduated with a BA in Photography from the University of Portsmouth in 2024, where her practice evolved from fashion photography to a more documentary-driven approach.
Currently, Danielė’s work explores the Palestinian genocide, delving into broader socio-political issues. Through visual art, she challenges viewers to confront uncomfortable truths about societal structures and their profound effects on individuals and communities.
