Photo Fringe is proud to present images by local photographers aged between 14 and 18 selected from open call in response to the festival’s theme Common Ground. These visual interpretations encourage us to consider each other across generations, across meeting places both physical and emotional and consider how we connect and seek unity together but also with our planet.

For the first time, we have opened this opportunity to young people in Portsmouth and enjoyed responses from local schools and colleges too including Admiral Lord Nelson School, Cams Hill School, HSDC Havant and Southdowns Campuses, Miltoncross Academy, Priory School, Purbrook Park School.

We are thrilled to develop new partnerships with Aspex Portsmouth and Pompey Darkroom.Pompey Darkroom is a community focused arts organisation aiming to promote and support photography in the city. Find out more: pompeydarkroom.co.uk
